UTM link builder
UTM parameters are small tags added to the end of a link so your analytics can tell where a visit came from: a Facebook post, a newsletter or a QR code on a flyer. Fill in the fields below and copy the finished link.
The page people should land on. If you leave out https://, it is added for you.
Where the visit comes from, for example facebook, newsletter or flyer.
The type of channel, for example social, email, cpc or qr.
Your campaign name, for example spring_sale.
What you type is processed in your browser only and is not sent to linkz.ge servers.
How to use it
- Paste the page address you want people to land on. If you leave out http:// or https://, https:// is added for you.
- Pick a channel preset (Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, YouTube, email newsletter or Google Ads) to fill in source and medium, or type your own values.
- Name the campaign, for example spring_sale. Use term for the keyword of a paid search ad, and fill in content only if you need to tell apart, say, two banners or two ads inside one campaign.
- Read the notes under the result. Uppercase letters and spaces often split reports into separate rows; the "Tidy up values" button lowercases them and turns spaces into underscores.
- Copy the finished link and use it in your ad, post or email. If it is too long, you can shorten it with linkz.ge.
Frequently asked questions
What are UTM parameters?
They are five optional tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content) added to a link after the ? sign. The page itself does not change. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics read the tags and assign the visit to your campaign.
Why use lowercase Latin letters?
Many analytics tools treat Facebook and facebook as different values, so one campaign can end up split across several rows. Georgian or Cyrillic letters turn into long %XX codes inside the link. Pick one rule, such as lowercase Latin letters and underscores, and use it every time.
Does a linkz.ge short link keep my UTM parameters?
Yes. A short link redirects to exactly the address you saved, so the tags reach your analytics unchanged. linkz.ge statistics count clicks, countries and devices; they do not split clicks by UTM value, so use your own analytics for that. Also note that new links have an ad page switched on by default, so visitors may see a short ad before the redirect; with an account you can switch it off per link.
