Use case

Picture a developer whose SaaS product needs to auto-generate short links — for example, a referral link for every new signup. They just send a single POST request to the linkz.ge API with their Bearer token and instantly get back a ready short link that's inserted into the product automatically — no manual work needed.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find the API documentation?

The endpoint is POST /api/v1/shorten with an "Authorization: Bearer <api_key>" header and a JSON body. "url" is required. alias, title and monetize work on every plan; on paid plans (Pro/Business) you can also send password, expires_at, url_mobile, og_title, og_description, og_image, ab_variants (A/B rotation) and link_targets (geo/device targeting). Responses are JSON with ok and data, or error. The same summary is available at /llms.txt.

Is there a rate limit?

Yes — a monthly quota based on your plan: Free 200, Pro 10,000, Business 100,000 requests per month. Every authenticated response carries X-RateLimit-Limit and X-RateLimit-Remaining headers, and going over the quota returns HTTP 429.

Can I have more than one Bearer token?

Right now each account uses one active token, shown on your profile page. If a key leaks, contact us and we will rotate it.
