Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it when you use linkz.ge.

  1. 1. Who is responsible (controller)

linkz.ge, 1 Rustaveli Street, Tbilisi, Georgia. Privacy requests: [email protected].

  2. 2. What we collect

Account: name, email, password (stored only as a hash) or the identifier provided by Google/Facebook if you sign in with them; optionally phone, website, company details (name, ID, address, contact person), payout method and details. Links and pages: destination URLs, titles, settings, Link-in-Bio content and images you upload. Visits to short links and Link-in-Bio pages: date and time, country (determined from your IP address by our network provider), device type, operating system, browser, language, referring website (domain only) and a pseudonymous identifier computed from your IP address; on monetized links also the ad network used (for fraud control and revenue calculation). We do not store IP addresses in our database, only a one-way identifier computed from them (for IPv6, from the first 64 bits). Our hosting and network providers process IP addresses in their technical logs.

  3. 3. Cookies

Cookies we set: linkz_sess (login session, deleted when you close the browser), lang (language, 1 year), theme (light/dark, 1 year), lz_consent (your cookie choice, 180 days), linkz_anon (to attach links shortened without an account to your account later, 30 days), linkz_ref (referral code until you register, 30 days; in the restricted regions listed below only after your consent). Third-party cookies and scripts: Google Analytics 4 and Google AdSense (if enabled), the TOP.GE counter, the ad networks Adsterra and Monetag and, on monetized links, Meta, Google and TikTok pixels added by the link owner. For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and where your country cannot be determined, these load only after you consent; elsewhere they are on by default and you can opt out. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page, and you can delete cookies in your browser.

  4. 4. Ads and third-party services

The redirect page of a monetized link loads third-party ads (Adsterra, Monetag). Google AdSense, Google Analytics 4 (if enabled) and the TOP.GE counter run on the site's pages. These services receive your IP address and browser data directly. Other recipients: hosting and network providers (including Cloudflare), our email delivery provider, Google and Meta if you sign in with them. Owners of links and Link-in-Bio pages see statistics about visits to their own links (country, device, browser, referrer — no IP addresses). Some providers process data outside the EEA, including in the United States; their privacy policies describe the safeguards they use. We do not sell account data. Fonts are served from our own server; we do not use Google Fonts.

  5. 5. Purposes and legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar law applies: running your account and the service — performance of a contract; link and page statistics, security, fraud prevention and revenue-share calculation — our legitimate interests; third-party ads, analytics and pixels — your consent (you can withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect earlier processing); payout accounting records — legal obligation.

  6. 6. Retention and security

Account data is kept until you delete your account. Visit statistics (clicks, valid views, Link-in-Bio views) are deleted automatically after 365 days; aggregated totals (counters, daily earnings) are kept. Wallet and payout records are kept as long as needed for accounting. Passwords are stored hashed, the connection is secured with HTTPS, access to data is restricted.

  7. 7. Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction, deletion or export of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time — email us or use the contact page. You can delete your account yourself: Profile → "Delete account" (password and email confirmation required). If the account has a wallet balance or payout history it cannot be deleted automatically: contact us, because we need to keep payout records for accounting. You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Georgia, the Personal Data Protection Service; in the EEA/UK, the authority of your country of residence.
