How to shorten a link: step by step
How to shorten a link on linkz.ge with or without an account: copy, QR code, click statistics and the ads setting.
Long links are awkward in messages, posts and print. On linkz.ge you can shorten one in seconds, with or without an account.
Without an account
Paste the URL on the home page and click "Shorten". You get a random 6-character code such as linkz.ge/k3Xp9a, plus "Copy" and "QR code" buttons. You cannot pick the code, edit the link or see stats, and the ad page stays on. If you register or log in in the same browser within 30 days, up to your last 10 anonymous links are attached to your account.
With a free account
- Create a free account and paste the URL in your dashboard.
- Optionally open "Advanced options" to set a custom alias (3-32 Latin letters, digits,
_or-), a title, a campaign or tags. - Check "Ads and earnings on this link": it is on by default. Untick it for a direct redirect.
- Click "Shorten". From the link list you can copy, download a QR (PNG, color, S/M/L), open analytics, edit the destination or toggle ads.
